In partnership with the East Riding Safeguarding Adults Board, East Riding Voluntary Action Services are offing Adult Safeguarding Level 1, Recognising Abuse Training.
The training is aimed at both paid staff and volunteers working within the Community Voluntary Sector and should be viewed as essential training for all public facing staff and volunteers.
The training aims to –
Develop an understanding of Safeguarding Adults at Risk of Harm within the East Riding of Yorkshire alongside key legislation, national & local guidance including –
- The Care Act 2014
- Mental Capacity Act 2005
- Making Safeguarding Personal
- East Riding Safeguarding Adults Board Multi Agency Procedures
On successful completion of the training, delegates will be awarded a Safeguarding Adults Board Level 1 certificate.
