PLATFORM 66 YOUTH PROJECT STAMFORD BRIDGE
Youth Workers required for new youth project in STAMFORD BRIDGE area of the East Riding of Yorkshire.
Applications are invited from two enthusiastic and motivated individual’s to manage and develop the youth provision in the STAMFORD BRIDGE area of the East Riding of Yorkshire. Working with Stamford Bridge Sports Hall Association you will be supported by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Youth & Family Support (YFS) service to undertake an assessment of young people’s needs in the community and develop a one night a week project to help meet needs.
East Riding have agreed to fund the project for a one year period but it is hoped that additional funding will be secured to extend the project if successful beyond one year.
The successful applicant’s will work alongside young people, 8 to 12 and 13 to 15, the YFS and other stakeholders in developing a range of activities aimed at assisting young people’s personal development. The post holder will have a genuine interest in young people and a commitment to equal opportunities.
The two posts available are:
Level 2 youth worker for 6 hours per week Salary £24,472 pro rata APT&C scale point 28
Level 1 youth worker for 2.5 to 5 hours per week Salary £19,742 pro rata APT&C scale point 21
