Annual General Meeting – Wednesday 30 November 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of East Riding Voluntary Action Services (ERVAS) Limited will be held electronically.

Members will be given the opportunity to vote via electronic means.  A voting poll will be sent to all members on the 15th November 2022, to enable them to vote prior to the 30th November 2022.  Votes will not be counted until the 30th November 2022.  The deadline for online voting is 29th November 2022.  Trustee nominations and profiles will be available on the ERVAS website to enable members to vote. Members will also be voting on the business outlined below.

Nominations and Trustee applications to become a Trustee for ERVAS should be received by 14th November 2022 to enable electronic voting.  Nominations should be sent to Judith Leech at or to the office address on this notice.

All information relating to the ERVAS AGM will be found on the ERVAS website from Thursday 10th November 2022.

                    8) Special Resolution: To approve the motion to merge East Riding Voluntary Actions Services (ERVAS) Ltd  and Voluntary Action North Lincolnshire Limited as per the recommendation of the Trustees

The following Special Resolution will be put to the meeting:-

“To approve the motion to merge East  Riding Voluntary Actions Services (ERVAS) Ltd and Voluntary Action North Lincolnshire Limited as per the recommendation of the Trustees”.

The purpose of the proposed change is to increase the strength of voluntary sector support across both areas of benefit, strengthening the scope of delivery, increasing sustainability and skills base to benefit VCSE organisations and the wider community (further information in the attached presentation).
