YGAM Gaming and Gambling Safety Training

The ERSCP has arranged for the Young Gamers and Gamblers Education Trust to deliver training to East Riding practitioners.

YGAM are a national charity with the social purpose to inform, educate and safeguard children and young people against the potential harms of gaming and gambling. We do this by offering professionals FREE interactive online workshops and 450+ resources.

 

Upon completion of the workshop staff will benefit from:

  • An increased knowledge of gaming and gambling, including esports and loot boxes
  • Being able to spot the signs of gaming and gambling related harms
  • Access to FREE downloadablePHSE/RSE mapped KS2 – KS5 resources and youth work resources mapped against the Framework of Outcomes for Young People, including SOW, Session Plans and PowerPoints – an excellent and relevant bank of resources for all young people
  • A City & Guilds assured credential upon the full 2.5 hours training

 

The training is scheduled to take place on the following two dates and is suitable for any practitioner working with children and young people.
