Multi-Agency DASH Risk Assessment Training

This training will prepare front line staff from all agencies to use the DASH risk assessment checklist.

By the end of the course participants will:

• Know their agencies responsibilities to identify, assess and manage where there is a risk of domestic violence, stalking, harassment and honour based violence
• Be able to use the DASH risk assessment checklist to inform the assessments they are undertaking
• Understand the barriers to disclosing domestic abuse which may exist
• Be able to identify factors which may lead to changes in the level of risk.

This inter-agency training, developed by Action for Prisoners’ Families, is aimed at all professionals whose work may bring them into contact with prisoners’ families. Including prison staff, probation, children’s centres, education, health, youth services and social care.
