Level 3- Community Health and Wellbeing Workers and Apprenticeships Open Day

November 30 @ 10:30 am - 5:00 pm

This is an opportunity for employers within the Yorkshire and Humber region to learn about the standard and interact with approved providers

About this event

This is an opportunity for both employers and potential apprentices to learn more about the Level 3–Community Health and Wellbeing Worker (L3-CHWW) apprenticeship.

The L3-CHWW apprenticeship standard has the potential to equip and empower several roles within the health and social care – increasing individual capacities and unique capabilities.

Typical roles that may benefit from this apprenticeship include community health champions, social prescribers, recovery coordinators or coaches, community connectors, care navigators and any other role that supports local people and their communities by preventing poor health and tackling inequalities.

The types of roles listed above, suggest the level 3 Community Health & Wellbeing Worker apprenticeship also has the potential to improve delivery of community interventions and commissioned/funded outcomes.

This is an opportunity for both apprenticeship-levy-paying organisations and those who do not pay into the levy.

This virtual open day event will host representatives from

  1. National Public Health Workforce Development Team: The Level 3 Community Health and Wellbeing Worker Apprenticeship
  2. Health Education England: Apprenticeship levy and transfers
  3. Approved training providers: Share their unique offer.
