Learning Lessons Workshop
The East Riding Safeguarding Children Partnership are committed to supporting the continuing professional development of the children’s workforce across the county by sharing learning from local and national case reviews. This 3 hour workshop will cover:
• the findings of a local independent learning lessons review
• the outcome of an ERSCP local rapid review in early 2022
• new ERSCP guidance on the duties under Sections 85 and 86 of the Children Act 1989
• upcoming ERSCP guidance on the management of perplexing presentations and fabricated or induced illness.
Themes to be explored include:
➢ adolescent mental health and self harm
➢ complex safeguarding inquiries
➢ young people placed in out of area hospitals
➢ fabricated and induced illness
All sessions will be delivered via Teams on these dates.
29th November 9:30am-12:30pm
7th December 5-8pm (twilight session)
13th December 1-4pm
