January 21 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Forthcoming forum – Hull and East Riding Interfaith (HERI)

TIME AND PLACE:  Tuesday, 21/1/20 – Guildhall, Lowgate, Hull. HU1 2AA  4.30 pm to 6.30 pm
Refreshments from 4.30 and meeting starts at 5 pm

TO BE DISCUSSED:  “WHAT IS THE MOST PRECIOUS THING ABOUT YOUR
PERSONAL SET OF BELIEFS/RELIGIOUS PRACTICES?”.

FORUM LED BY:
      Father Gerard Burns

Gerard is a Catholic Priest who has found inter faith dialogue greatly

enriching and is a member of  HERI’s committee.

Please join us for the first forum of 2020 when Father Gerard Burns
invites you to join him in exploring an issue which he has been
considering for a lifetime (well many years!) which is what aspects of
religion are most important to different people.  We originally had a
working title for this forum of ‘What is religion for?’.  We thought
this would encourage a  wide sharing of views  and envisaged that
possible responses might range from deep spiritual experience to feeling
part of a community.  We have tried to make the final title more
inclusive and are now going for “WHAT IS THE MOST
PRECIOUS THING ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL SET OF BELIEFS/RELIGIOUS PRACTICES?”.
This will be an highly participative event and we aim to encourage a
fruitful inter faith dialogue.
