Domestic Violence & Children’s Needs Training

You will need to have completed the pre-requisite training of Domestic Violence Awareness & E-Learning Awareness of Child Abuse & Neglect (or Safeguarding Children in Education) to be booked onto the above course.

By the end of the course participants will have:

• Examined the links between domestic violence and child abuse
• Considered how domestic violence impacts on parenting capacity
• Examined ways of responding to the needs of women and children affected by domestic violence
• Identified ways to work together to improve service provision for children and families who are experiencing or who have experienced domestic violence
