  • Coffee Session with Guest Speakers from Kooth and Life Skills Hub

Thursday 13th May from 10.00-12.00 noon

Andrew will be telling us about Kooth, an online mental wellbeing community

kooth.com is a safe and anonymous online community that children and young people can access support and resources around their emotional wellbeing and mental health.

Our service allows free access to optional support from counsellors and qualified emotional wellbeing practitioners, alongside the chance to access support from peers, join forums and learn coping skills to manage mental health in a safe and supportive way.

Luke will be telling us about Life Skills Hub

Life Skills Hub supports children and young people who often experiencing difficulties in education, highly anxious and/or have complex special educational needs and/or disability. We run a School Outreach service in Hull & East Riding for 1-1 and small group support with trained specialist wellbeing practitioners (0-25 years old).

Very shortly we are opening our therapeutic centre in Cottingham for highly anxious young people (aged 8-18 years old). We are funded in different ways, through schools or local authorities, or EHCP or Children Looked After funding.  We work in a proactive and relational way, offering face to face support.
