The East Riding Youth Coalition Support Service is funded by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Humberside and supported by the East Riding Community Safety Partnership.
ERVAS supports a number of youth coalition networks across the East Riding, including:
- Bridlington Youth Coalition
- Withernsea Youth Coalition
- Beverley Youth Network
- East Riding Youth Network
You can follow the links above to access more detailed information about each youth coalition network, we will update these with the dates of meetings and agendas.
We are hoping to establish additional youth coalitions in Driffield and Wolds & Dale. We also attend Goole Youth Action, which is setting up as an independent body.
The idea of the youth coalitions are to co-ordinate local youth services effectively, respond collaboratively to meet local needs of young people, plan for future youth provision, increase youth resources, share information on local youth issues, improve knowledge and skills of people working with young people (paid or not), link in with strategies that impact on the local area, particularly in regard to children and youth services, improve young people’s voice and influence, increase knowledge of local youth provision etc. across all sectors.
The networks are open to anyone who works with young people in the local areas.
If you would like to attend any of the youth coalition meetings, please contact Detty Tyler on 01482 871 077 or via the form at the bottom of the page.
I work in partnership with a wide range of local services and organisations to support the development and sustainability of the local voluntary and community sector, which works with children, young people and families.
